There's an office for Avis about 3 miles north east of the shop. 528 West Grand Avenue Elmhurst IL 60126 630-279-5675 Amtrak and Commuter Train Connections Amtrak is at Union Station in downtown Chicago. To get to the shop connection can be made to the Metra Union Pacific West Line commuter train at the Ogilvie station located four blocks north of Union Station. The Metra Union Pacific West Line commuter train runs from the Ogilvie Station in downtown Chicago to a station that is about one mile from the shop in Villa Park. It's a 35 minute trip from downtown to the Villa Park station. American Taxi provides good quality service throughout the Chicago area. They also service at O'Hare and Midway airports. During non-rush hours it's about a 20 minute ride from O'Hare. The ride is about 40 minutes from Midway. After you arrive at the airport contact them at at 847-255-9600. Taxies at the airports. If you don't schedule a taxi on the phone and want to hail one from the stand at the airport you should be aware of Chicago taxies. The Chicago licensed taxies at the stands in the airports charge the fare x 1.5 for a trip into the suburbs. We are in the suburban village of Addison. Normal suburban taxi fare to the shop is about $45. To avoid the x 1.5 up-charge, we recommend calling a suburban taxi. American Taxi offers reliable suburban service at the airports without the up-charge.
