Headers

The headers have 2" primary pipes and 3" collectors. They are made by Stainless Works. The material is 304 stainless steel. They are ceramic coated on the outside and the inside. The silver ceramic coating is polished. The engine is tuned for the headers.

The typical performance improvement for a 400 crankshaft hp engine is +15 ft. lbs. torque and +25 horsepower.

Headers as above with catalysts. Metallic substrate catalysts are utilized. The front catalyst connections are a slip fit.

On a 400 crankshaft hp engine, the catalysts will reduce horse power by about 3. On a 500 crankshaft hp engine, the catalysts will reduce horsepower by about 10. An engine with this exhaust system can pass an emissions test.
